Lakewood Recycling Center
The City of Lakewood has opened its first recycling site at 1050 Quail Street at the City of Lakewood shops. The new unmanned site is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for Lakewood residents. The facility is managed through City of Lakewood Environmental Management Services. The center accepts the following items for recycling:

• Newspapers, magazines, office paper, junk mail
• Telephone books
• Aluminum, glass, plastic, tin and more
• Cardboard

The site is equipped with four-yard containers for paper and phone books, and a 30-yard dumpster for aluminum, glass, plastic and tin. Signs on site indicate which dumpsters are for paper, plastics and metal and which are for phone books. For more information, please call 303-987-7974.

Please note - this facility does not accept chemicals. Disposal of unused and unwanted household chemical products can be discarded through the Rooney Road Recycling Facility located at 151 South Rooney Road in Golden.
