Paint Recycling

You may now bring your paint to the Rooney Road Recycling Center for free!

As of July 1, 2015, all paint sold in Colorado contains a surcharge to pay for used paint recycling. The program is managed by PaintCare (http://www.paintcare.org/paintcare-states/colorado/).  The Rooney Road Recycling Center is a drop-off location for the PaintCare Program.

Is a copay required for paint?

What is NOT included?

PaintCare does not accept aerosols (spray cans), solvents, and products intended for industrial or non-architectural use.

Will the Rooney Road Recycling Center take products not included under the PaintCare Program?
