It’s important that our facility is accessible to everyone, so we keep our costs as low as possible, without compromising safety. Your local government believes in the safe handling of HHW and that’s why so many jurisdictions subsidize the costs. It’s that important to encourage the public to bring in their HHW. We care so much about this issue that the majority of the costs are largely paid for; customers pay just a small co-pay.

Out-of-county residents pay $118 for the first 75 pounds of HHW, compared to in-county residents who pay a co-pay of just $30. For a detailed list of costs, see below.

  • Fire Extinguishers = $43.00 each
  • Large Propane (Grill) Cylinders = $37.63 each*
  • Electronic Waste (E-waste) = $1.77 per pound
  • TVs = $1.77 per pound, $188.00 max. per TV**
  • Curbside pickup= $40 ( If you are unable to drive to the center)

*Oxygen tanks, and all other compressed gas cylinders, are priced on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information.

**Hard drives are securely stored and destroyed by a certified E-waste recycler. E-waste recycling is provided as a convenience, but may be found elsewhere at a lower cost.

  • Paint products: Oil and latex house paint, primers, stains, sealers and clear coatings such as shellac and varnish. (Up to 5 gallon containers, 200 gallons per visit. Spray paint is not included.)  
  • Automotive batteries
  • Motor oil (up to 5 gallon containers)
  • Small camping propane cylinders (1 pound)

Non-Residential Pricing

Participating jurisdictions do not subsidize the cost of recycling for businesses, governments or Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQGs). All non-residential customers pay the VSQG recycling fees. VSQG pricing:  $2.69 per pound with a minimum charge of $145 and $134 curbside pickup fee.
